With nearly two decades of senior finance leadership, business advisory, strategy, corporate finance, and business valuation expertise, I bring a unique blend of skills to the table. Having held executive-level finance roles, navigated male-dominated industries, and often been the youngest person in the room, I intimately understand the challenges inherent in high-pressure situations.
This wealth of experience has not only equipped me to develop strategies that empower clients to thrive in demanding environments but has also allowed me to authentically connect with and support individuals facing similar hurdles. Recognizing the absence of relatable executive coaches during pivotal moments in my own career, particularly as a young female executive in the male-dominated finance realm, I resolved to reshape the coaching landscape.
Becoming a Certified High Performance Coach and a Certified Executive Coach, I am committed to changing the face of coaching, ensuring that individuals like myself receive the support needed to move forward rather than stepping back. Noticing that technical brilliance often coexists with challenges in what I prefer to call "human skills," I pursued EQi 2.0 Certification. This tool enables me to guide clients in enhancing their emotional intelligence, propelling them toward accelerated success.
Taking my passion for coaching and emotional intelligence into the realm of sales, I've crafted an approach rooted in genuine relationship-building. This method focuses on creating lasting partnerships and delivering exceptional value, diverging from the conventional "pitch-slap" approach to selling. I've observed a growing interest among fellow advisors eager to embrace this approach, recognizing the shifting landscape where clients seek more meaningful and collaborative engagements.
In 2014, I had the honour of being named by Edify Magazine as one of Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40.
In my spare time, I am an endurance athlete, golfer and glider pilot/instructor.
